In JJerry Bowers lost his fight to colon cancer on October 5, 2010. He was big into barrel races and 4H shows. His friends and family thought an annual barrel race would be a great way to remember him and help the fight against colon cancer. 

    We had the 1st annual Jerry Bowers Memorial Barrel Race on November 9, 2013. We had over 250 riders that came out and supported this great cause. We had donations, a silent auction, sponsors from local businesses. We payed out over $14,000 to the riders and raised and donated $7,000 to Get Your Rear In Gear for Colon Cancer! We are hoping to beat that donation amount this year.
